Disciples Making Disciples exists to equip believers to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ: “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
My mission is simple—to help Christians live out biblical truth with purpose and grace. Rooted in the model of Christ and His apostles, discipleship is relational, biblical, and transformative. It’s not a program but a lifestyle—walking with Jesus daily and helping others do the same.
Through clear teaching, practical tools, and encouragement from Scripture, this blog seeks to help believers grow into maturity—obeying Christ’s commands and multiplying the gospel in their homes, churches, and communities.
It is my prayer that you will embrace Jesus’ call to make disciples, step boldly into this mission, and watch how God uses your life to transform the world around you.
“Him we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.”
— Colossians 1:28 (LSB)
About Me:
Like the Apostle Paul, I don’t enjoy boasting about my accomplishments—but I do love to boast in what the Lord has done in my life.
By His grace, I came to know Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior just before my ninth birthday. Soon after, I was baptized as an outward testimony of the inward change He brought to my heart. That moment began a lifelong journey of learning, growing, and serving in the joy of His salvation.
I’ve been blessed to share life and ministry with my wonderful wife of nearly forty years. Together, we have two amazing daughters and four precious grandchildren who remind us daily of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
God has allowed me to serve Him as a pastor, theologian, musician, and follower of Christ. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from the University of Mary Hardin–Baylor and a Master of Divinity in Biblical Languages from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
This blog is an extension of that calling—to encourage believers to walk closely with Jesus, to worship Him fully, and to make disciples who make disciples.
I’d love for you to stay connected! Subscribe to my email list or follow along on Facebook and Instagram for updates on new blog posts, songs, and reflections meant to stir your heart toward our living Savior, Christ Jesus the Lord.
